ACT Prep that Matters. For Life.
Brenda Alberts is a former Executive Producer at KARE 11 News, the NBC affiliate in Minneapolis. Brenda played an integral role in helping the station win the Edward R. Murrow Award for overall excellence, given to the Best Large-Market Newsroom in the Nation. During Brenda's tenure at KARE 11 News, the station remained at the top of the Nielson Ratings charts in the key demographic age of 25-54.
An avid runner and cyclist, Brenda is active in her community: volunteering with her son's swim team, chaperoning club volleyball trips, directing science fairs, and teaching Sunday school. Brenda and her husband share a happy home with their two children, a hyper-active dog, and backyard views of one of Minnesota's 10,000 beautiful lakes.
In 2004, Brenda switched careers and launched a tutoring business after witnessing an alarming lack of English grammar skills and math sense among young interns. To that end, Brenda aggressively recruits tutors who share her vision of fostering academic distinction, as well as seeking individuals who strive to maintain a positive work-life balance.
